The Exember Team
Daniel is committed to unlocking the brilliance and potential of groups of leaders, and thrives on the magic created when they come together to take ownership for something that matters.
He designs processes and facilitates “real-deal” conversations, leading to alignment, relationship and results. He believes that clients have the answer, that humility, humor and love count.
Before founding Exember, Daniel was with The Trium Group, where he supported top leadership teams in technology, healthcare and retail.
He spent his early years at McKinsey in Silicon Valley and in Tel-Aviv. Daniel has an Ph.D. in Geophysics from UC San Diego and an MBA from Stanford University.
Eric’s greatest satisfaction comes from getting teams genuinely aligned, excited and ready to execute on big changes. He has a passion for the “fuzzy” intersection of human dynamics and business strategy.
His most recent work focuses on clients in high-tech, healthcare, and banking, designing mission-critical meetings for audiences ranging from 10 to 500+ people.
Prior to joining Exember in 2014, Eric was a Director for BTS, where he led client engagements, managed strategic relationships, and facilitated 200+ workshops.
Eric holds a Computer Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Stanford University.
AMANDA SILBER LEVITT
Amanda supports teams in the early stages of visioning and planning for the design and development of products, processes and organizations.
Prior to consulting, Amanda spent a decade in management roles in the fields of technology and education; her “alma mater” companies include Intuit Software and Broderbund.
Amanda is passionate about creating engaging experiences that require inter-disciplinary thinking. She also brings a background in theater direction and software game development (including titles for the acclaimed Carmen Sandiego series).
Amanda holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA and Masters in Education from Stanford University.
Tim is an expert in designing and facilitating experiential workshops with a “very particular set of skills” in board game-style simulations.
He has architected workshops for a wide variety of industries including Finance, Consumer Products, Defense, Government, Insurance, Biotech/Pharma, Software, and Telecommunications.
He is also a strong facilitator and instructor with over 15 years (over 1200 teaching days) for Fortune 500 audiences ranging from sales and new hires to mid-level and senior executives in venues small and large.
What makes Tim stand out are his systems thinking and ability to ask great questions. He is also just a humble, intelligent, high-integrity guy that people want on their team.
Tim has an MBA from Columbia University, a PhD (ABD) in Economics from McGill University, an MA in Economics from McMaster University, and a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
Valerie is on a mission to help organizations create workplace cultures where people thrive - even in the gloomiest of situations!
She incorporates best practices in organizational behavior and design thinking for change that sticks, and partners with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their needs.
Before entering the world of consulting, Valerie served in the United States Air Force. She is best known for teaming with leaders to create cultures of innovation, paving the way for creative breakthroughs and sky-high employee morale.
Valerie holds a BS in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Kevin is the owner of Lighthouse Communications, a design and marketing agency based in Thousand Oaks, CA. He has 15+ years of experience in planning, designing and producing high-quality materials for meetings and off-sites for a range of Fortune 500 clients. Kevin is Exember's preferred production partner for clients that demand premium, timely and flawless execution of their meeting materials.
Kevin has a BA in Journalism from Humboldt State University and is based in Thousand Oaks, California.
Jessica joined Exember in 2018. She is a seasoned professional with 15+ years’ experience and a proven track record in fundraising, donor and corporate relations, portfolio management, research, executive support, meeting and event planning, and customer service.
She is distinguished for combining timeline management with deep operational experience, technical proficiency, and cross-functional communication skills.
Jessica holds a BA in Art History from James Madison University and is based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
